Mister and Miss Africa Qualification

Delegates of MMA are appointed as MMA African Ambassadors and dispatched to their various countries with the mission to campaign against prevalent social vices towards the improvement of the continent.
They will be requested to choose an issue that requires urgent attention in the continent and plan a project that will contribute towards solving it.

• Environment
• Prostitution
• Poverty/Starvation
• Cultural neglect
• Cultural bias
• Tribal disparity
• Child Abuse
• Security etc
Successful applicants would be invited to the regional screening process and thereafter represent their various states at the National level i.e. “MMA Nigeria”, from which a winner would emerge to represent Nigeria at the international level.

MMA seek for delegates who not only have beautiful, handsome and attractive physical features (such as toned, well balanced and defined bodies’ as well as physical fitness) but articulate expressional talents & communication skills with good mannerisms also possessing a beauty that reflects one’s internal character (self-discipline, moral integrity, wisdom, respect and spirit of service for others etc.), which encompasses a total beauty that shows the beauty & purity of the continent we share (Africa).
We are looking for delegates who can become role models and promote the ideal African culture and values; they should possess a sense of internationality in creating harmony that leads to building a continent of peace that can overcome any barrier or margin between the youth of the different nations of Africa.

The introduction of beauty pageantry in Africa is a significant social achievement. Therefore, ethical standard and traditions must go along with it. Above all, beauty must accompany intelligence and good character which reflects a better African society.
The Mister and Miss Africa beauty pageant is an exceptional multi-cultural event, customized to create a strong and consistent platform that will promote awareness of the various African cultures and social integration.

The emphasis on socio economic development of the participants and the winners, include the advocate for culture and tourism promotion in our rich continent as well as the campaign for youth empowerment.

The pageant is staged in over 30 African countries to ascertain a well groomed male and female model that would represent their country at the International level.
